Job Description Job Description Andover Manor Rehab and Nursing is seeking a Social Worker Assistant with a passion for working with elders, to fill a full -time position. The Social Worker Assistant will assist in providing psychological, rehabilitation, and social support to our patients and families. To be a successful Social Worker Assistant, you should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ultimately, a top-notch candidate is compassionate and empathetic. We would like to speak with a Social Worker Assistant who is skilled in communication, assessment and social work methods and techniques. You should be able to work effectively with a variety of disciplines in an individual and team setting. The successful candidate should have a working understanding of social systems along with the ability to implement pertinent state and federal regulations. Don't forget Basic knowledge of the Medicaid process is required. Social Work or a related field experience preferred, but not required. Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Skilled nursing facility/Long-term care experience is required. This is a direct hire position; we are not an agency.
