Representative for an established landscape and snow removal
company in business for over 36 years. Reports to: VP, Business
Development Works with: In addition to the VP, Business
Development. This role will also work in collaboration with the
Client Relations Manager and he or she will be responsible for
providing accurate proposals and exceeding client expectations from
initial lead through the sales cycle. Salary: Competitive, based on
qualifications Job Location: Based in Easton, MA Number of
Employees Supervised: N/A Required Education : High School graduate
and/or work experience equivalent Required Experience: Landscaping
experience a MUST! 3 years selling landscape maintenance,
enhancement, construction or related services Proficiency with
computers a MUST! and willingness to learn new selling tools.
Candidates with Service Auto Pilot experience will be strongly
considered for the position. Customer service experience 3 years
Proven ability to communicate succinctly in both written word and
verbally Required License or Certification: Valid Driver’s License
Summary of Position : We are seeking a customer relations driven
salesperson for the role of Sales Account Representative . It is
the primary responsibility of the Sales Representative to bring a
consistent flow of profitable new business to the business
enterprise, in accordance with the company’s sales and marketing
plan. Major Activities: Solicit sufficient new business
opportunities for the organization in order to meet sales
objectives. Respond quickly and professionally to lead
opportunities, conducting meetings with client to provide accurate
proposals. Represent the company in appropriate organizations for
the purpose of building relationships that lead to new business.
Prepare proposals for new work in Service Auto Pilot, send and
follow up with clients to close opportunities. Maintain company
data base of current customers, prospective customers and past
customers to support marketing efforts. Keep a record and
aggressively pursues proposals in progress working in conjunction
with the VP, Business Development’s efforts to solicit new
opportunities for the Company. See that proposals are prepared and
approved prior to submitting to the customer. Fosters a spirit of
cooperation with others within the organization. Other
Responsibilities: Assist Operations as needed to ensure the
execution of sold work meets client’s expectation and performed
within the budgeted allowance. Assist as needed in the customer
retention process & account renewal process. Provides constructive
and honest feedback regarding customer perceptions of product and
service value. Key Performance Metrics: Sales to sales goals
Proposals submitted to goals Close Ratio Timeliness and accuracy of
Proposal Process Success Behaviors: Energetic Self-Starter Good
Interpersonal Skills Good Organization Skills Technical
Capabilities on Data Base and Word Processing Skills. Excellent
Attention to Detail Extraordinary Work Conditions Position may
require extended work hours and flexibility in scheduling;
including evening or weekend hours as needed for client
