Job Description We are seeking a Hybrid Customer Service
Representative within the billing department to join our team M- F
8am-5pm The main function of a client services representative is to
interact with customers to provide information in response to
inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve
complaints. The CSR will also support the laboratory---s
interactions with its clients including assistance with test
ordering, the reporting of test results, testing supplies, billing
questions and general questions via both phone and email. A typical
customer service specialist is responsible for determining the
client---s issue, offer possible solutions or providing follow-up
as needed in a friendly, helpful and professional manner, and
provide value through continuous improvement initiatives and
assigned projects. Job Responsibilities include, but are not
limited to, the following: - Under moderate supervision, directly
handle client and patient inquiries and complaints related to
laboratory testing and requests regarding supplies and logistics
for testing services - Maintains current technical knowledge and
skills related to the business--- medical testing, as needed. -
Acts in a professional manner when interacting with patients,
visitors, and other staff. - Refer unresolved customer grievances
to designated departments for further investigation - Adheres to
administrative policies including but not limited to: attendance,
dress code and required training. - Performs related
responsibilities as required The ideal candidate would possess: -
Experience in a laboratory environment preferred - Some college
training in science, or science background, or equivalent,
preferred - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Skills: -
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail,
customer service skills and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work
independently and manage one's time. - Ability to accurately
document and record customer/client information. - Previous
experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Excel and
PowerPoint. Education/Experience: - High school diploma or GED
preferred. Ideal candidate would have an associate's or bachelor's
degree - 1-3 years customer service related experience required. -
MS Office experience - Authorization to work in the United States
indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
