What you--------ll do The Biomolecular Imaging Sales Specialist is responsible for driving the sales and profitability of the imaging product range, including laser-based scanners and CCD cameras. Forecast orders and sales using applicable sales funnel tools and reports for their products in their assigned territory. Build strong customer relationships and formulate account strategies and plans for the product range within the assigned accounts/ territory. Maintain up to date knowledge of competitor products and be able to elucidate the key differentiating benefits of the Cytiva solution. Execute successful product demonstrations, customer trainings, internal trainings, seminars, workshops and promotional activities. Drive and initiate development of new business opportunities working with Account Managers and other Sales Specialists to obtain maximum synergy across the business. Continuously update their understanding the customers changing operational issues and challenges. Track and communicate market trends from the field. Who you are Sales experience with biotechnology/pharmaceutical industries in Life Sciences research. BS Degree in Science (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry), Engineering, or related field. Strong working knowledge of radioisotope, gel based, and western blotting applications and/or fluorescent imaging as well as comparable imaging platforms. Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions-based sales approach. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language as well as good command of English. Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages. Must live in and be able to travel extensively within assigned geography. Self-Motivated, a team player, and well organized.
