What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate in the design, implementation, and ongoing
management of compensation structures and policies to ensure they
meet organizational objectives and adhere to legal
requirements.
- Assist in the administration of compensation programs, ensuring
they are carried out effectively and aligned with organizational
goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for compensation-related
matters within designated functional areas, providing expertise in
job evaluations, salary recommendations, and issue
resolution.
- Offer backup support for compensation tasks across the
organization, ensuring continuity and consistency in compensation
practices.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of external market
competitiveness and internal equity to identify trends and
disparities.
- Draw actionable insights from data analyses, making
recommendations to adjust compensation policies as needed to
maintain market competitiveness and internal fairness.
- Lead the preparation and participation in salary and
compensation surveys for both salaried and hourly positions,
ensuring the organization's compensation data is accurately
represented in the market.
- Compile and analyze survey data to assess the organization's
position relative to the market and identify areas for
adjustment.
- Engage in key compensation projects, including annual merit
review cycles, market pricing reviews, and strategic planning
initiatives, contributing analytical support and insights.
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports to monitor the
effectiveness and competitiveness of compensation programs,
identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Analyze patterns in compensation-related inquiries and issues,
recommending process improvements to enhance program effectiveness
and reduce future occurrences.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and external survey
vendors, ensuring accurate and timely data submission and
participation in relevant compensation surveys.

VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic data analysis.

ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise
manner.

What's needed- Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of related experience in compensation analysis or a
similar role within human resources.

What's needed- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,
Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros,
complex formulas, and data modeling. Familiarity with HR
Information Systems (HRIS), particularly Oracle HCM or similar
platforms, is a plus
- Previous internship or project experience involving
quantitative analysis, statistical methods, or compensation studies
is highly desirable.
- Progress towards or completion of relevant professional
certifications, such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of compensation fundamentals, such as job
evaluation techniques, market pricing, and pay structure design,
gained through coursework, internships, or work
experience.
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and analytical
skills to solve problems and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience conducting research, benchmarking studies, and
industry analysis related to compensation trends and best
practices.
