What you'll be doing:
Develop and implement a domain-specific keyword strategy that adheres to the overall Staples SEO strategy
Edit, test, and improve articles and page level content based on content strategy and best practices
Monitoring of progress and measuring initiative/project impact (revenue, traffic, rankings, links, etc.), show agility in project management to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
Conduct regular meetings with internal stakeholders to communicate updates on initiatives/projects
Understand and communicate Staples complete SEO strategy with stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure they understand their role
Conduct quality assurance on Staples Inc. domains to ensure requirements are met and best practices adhered to
Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and execute SEO strategies, assets, and support cross channel campaign initiatives
Assist with other SEO projects and initiatives as requested
What you bring to the table:
Proactive and self-motivated work style with proven ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities while meeting internal timelines.
Strong and effective communication (both written & oral) and interpersonal skills.
Highly proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze data and prepare reports and presentations.
Detail-oriented with the ability to provide deliverables efficiently and accurately.
Interested in innovation: learning more about the industry and applying learnings to managed programs.
Qualifications : What's needed- Basic Qualifications:
4+ years in enterprise-level sites, ecommerce preferred with 2 years of SEO experience
Bachelor's Degree: IT, Computer Science, Business (or related) OR equivalent work experience
What's needed- Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Google Search Console; Bing Webmaster Tools; Omniture, Google Analytics, or other analytics platform; BrightEdge, STAT, or other rank tracking tool; SEMRush, ContentKing, Screaming Frog, Botify, or other monitoring tool. Power BI experience a plus
