MCU is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join our growing team. The position is in-person and is located at 50 Main Street, Millbury MAPosition Summary: Under the direction of the VP of Information Technology, the Application Support Analyst interacts with other employees while administering and supporting the IT environment for the credit union. Responsibilities:Application SupportServe as user administrator on a variety of MCU systems, providing appropriate access to new users, modifying and removing existing user access where applicable and authorized.Acquire an overall awareness of the features, functionality and security of these systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand user and customer needs.Establishes and reviews system, application and user security controls while enforcing regulatory compliance standards.Investigate and propose ways to maximize benefits from applications and platforms to help maximize user efficiency and respond to changing organizational needs.Understand the workflow and process requirements of business units related to the application, determine how to optimize existing workflows and help develop and implement new workflows.Be an active member of cross-functional project teams to plan and deliver solutions that meet our business needs.Provide 2nd level support assistance to the 1st level support staff to diagnose and resolve application issues, particularly as it relates to coordinating and managing application vendor support.Develop or coordinate training programs for staff on existing systems to improve understanding and efficiency.Create system documentation, work flow procedures and data modeling.Provide oral and written status reports to stakeholders, team leaders and IT staff. ReportingLead and coordinate organization effort to create skilled users on Fiserv Business Analytics database queries / reporting through training programs and collaboration among users.Support scheduled, recurring and ad-hoc reporting to help inform short and long-term data driven strategies and objectives. Create reports, perform report and data analysis and provide support for testing verification.Cognitive Requirements:High levels of cognitive abilities are necessary to perform this job.
