Location: Middlesex County, MA.Description: The Company provides HVAC/R service and installation to business owners and property managers throughout Massachusetts. With a long history and a reputable name, the Company is poised to grow under a new management team.We are currently looking for a dynamic HVAC/R Installation Manager for our Installation team to manage the installation operations of the company, including commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Estimating, the scheduling and dispatch of the crews, ordering and purchasing equipment and materials, inventory stocking program, oversee all warehouse functions.What you will be doing:

• Estimating Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration jobs
• The overall supervision of the company's installation crew and the profitability of installation jobs.
• Supervise and delegate installation employees, which includes involvement in hiring decisions, coordinating employee schedules, conducting staff meetings, training employees, evaluating performance, approving timesheets and supervising work assignments
• Clear and concise communications with company customers, including keeping customers appraised as to company schedule and requested lead time. Resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction
• Oversee the training and efficiency of company installers.
• Implementation and enforcement of company's purchasing policy.
• Coach and motivate technicians to work at their maximum productivity; coach, train and develop technicians
• P&L & labor management responsibility
• Maintain inventory in shop and on trucks
• Reviews work orders/billing on a daily basis
• Must know how to type and be comfortable with software (e.g. Microsoft Office, etc.) and hardware (e.g. smart phone, tablet, etc.)
• Pursue new commercial customers on a regular basis, with a particular focus on replacement and PM contracts
• Prepare estimates, including design, in a timely fashion and follow up as needed.
• Maintain required professional licenses for the company when necessary

  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Pass background check
  • 3 + years related experience as an install manager, estimating, project management for Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration
  • 5 + years of HVAC/R experience in Commercial / Refrigeration installation
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Experience in managing, coaching, and developing employees
  • Detail oriented and highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
  • Computer skills required; MS Office, Service & Dispatch system
  • Ability to inspire and lead others to attain company goals
  • Strong communication skills
