Overview:
Starting rate $68,000
In conjunction with leadership, develop and implement a robust
intern program. The intern training supervisor will provide
Advocates Community Counseling interns with experience providing
direct services to members of Advocates through the Advocates
Intern Program. The intern training supervisor will be responsible
for the clinical services delivered by interns.

Minimum Education Required: Master's Degree Responsibilities:
In conjunction with leadership, develop and implement a robust
intern program.
Provide weekly clinical supervision to ACC interns.
Provide a weekly training to ACC interns.
Provide support and training to interns on the design of treatment
plans, clinical problems, and related issues for behavioral health
services.
Provide interns experience with psychological assessment and
diagnosis.
Complete comprehensive assessments for ACC.
Uphold and demonstrate adherence to existing policies and
procedures concerning provided care and record documentation.
Maintain open, collaborative and collegial relationships with other
team members.
Attend and actively participate in supervision and staff
meetings.
Attend trainings as assigned; maintain necessary certifications
required by Advocates.
Remain alert at all times throughout the scheduled shift.
Follow agency and appropriate licensing policies regarding
professional ethics and confidentiality.
Attend and actively participate in supervision and team
meetings.
Ensure that clients are treated with dignity and respect in
accordance with Advocates Human Rights Policy.
Adhere to all Advocates Way principles.
Perform all duties in accordance with the agency's policies and
procedures. Follow agency Performance Standards.
Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
MA/MS/MSW and 2 years post licensure of current Massachusetts
independent practice licensure in Mental Health Counseling or
Social Work.
2 years post independent licensure; LICSW or LMHC.
Basic computer knowledge.
High energy level, superior interpersonal skills and ability to
function in a team atmosphere.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated
understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse
populations.
Commitment to Advocates values and mission.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and
ability to use good judgment.
Must hold a valid drivers' license. Must have access to an
operational and insured vehicle to travel between sites.
