We are looking for great people who want to take this journey with us!JOB SUMMARYThis person will be reporting to the designated manager onsite. The Title Clerk will provide manager back-up when necessary to ensure all aspects of title processing and monetary transactions are completed daily. This person will provide customer service and resolve issues in a professional manner. Perform all duties assigned by the Office Manager or designated Manager. Must know, practice and ensure that company policies, procedures and state and federal laws are followed, at all times.QUALIFICATIONS* High School Diploma or G.E.D.* Customer Service in a fast-paced environment* 3 to 5 years title experience* Valid Driver's LicenseResponsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to the following:Provide Excellent Customer Service:* Provide customer service and resolve issues in a professional manner.* Receive payments of purchased vehicles and issue payments to seller of vehicle* Prepare and process duplicate titles to DMV per customer request* Prepare weekly reports for vehicles without titles and communicate to buyers.* Contact sellers for updates on missing titles and enter all notes into the AMS system.* Practice and promote company Core ValuesOther* Process incoming titles from sellers and assign them to new buyers.* Verify that titles are free from errors, alterations, mileage discrepancies and undisclosed brands* Prepare weekly Accounts Receivable report from AMS systems and transfer information to Excel spreadsheet.* Daily posting of incoming wire transfers from floor plan companies and dealer payments. Ensure all monetary transactions are reconciled and posted accurately. Reconcile bank clearing.* Run weekly AutoCheck reports for vehicles at auction. Verify miles and ensure vehicle announcements contain correct brands and disclosures.Knowledge, Skills and Information Sources:* KAR policies and procedures* State DMV and Federal Guidelines* Strong knowledge of title processing and auction processes* Multitasking in fast-paced environment* Microsoft Office skillsPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:The physical activity requirements of the position:* Constant - sitting at computer for long periods of time, customer contact, answering phones* Frequent - talking, walking, listening* Occasional - reaching for desk suppliesEquipment, Tools and Machinery* Computer, phone, adding machine, scanner, faxLEGAL STUFFHiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
