Position Overview
PURPOSE:
We are seeking a Customer Care Specialist to develop and maintain
relationships with important customers inorder to grow new business
within these accounts.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Contact customers to ensure they are aware of and fully
utilizing all of SiteOne's capabilities including SiteOne
University, vendor support, and Partner's Program.
- Communicate current marketing programs and events to the local
customer base.
- Work and communicate effectively with all relevant SiteOne
resources, including Sales Support Representatives, Line of
Business Specialists, and store Associates.
- Facilitate effective hand off of customers to Store
- Maintain high level of customer satisfaction
- Maintain appropriate professional and technical knowledge.
- Report progress against opportunities to share verifiable
outcomes.
- Provide in-store support as needed working the counter or
assisting in the yard.
- Assist RVP in special projects such as store openings and
regional marketing campaigns
- Support Regional Sales Representative in Order entry and
delivery follow-up and trackingSkills We Are Seeking
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Negotiation, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate value proposition and differentiate
SiteOne's products and services
- Talk easily with new people over the phone
- Build relationships with clients and grow sales
- Knowledge of sales cycle and solution selling techniques
- Ability to think quickly and make decisions
- Knowledge of industry trends
- Bilingual Spanish speaking, preferred
- Basic computer skills - Excel, Word, Outlook EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE:
- High school, secondary diploma or equivalent required
- College degree preferred
- 1 3 years of customer service / sales support experience
preferred
- 1 3 years Green industry experience preferredPERKS:
