Senior APU Facilities PlannerDEPARTMENT
DESCRIPTION:Manufacturing Scheduling is responsible for the
development of the detailed production schedule for commercial cGMP
operations, and integration of other supporting operations
(Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Initial
Qualifications, Requalification, etc.) that impact production
operations, equipment, or facilities, into the production schedule.
Manufacturing's primary operations include Equipment Preparation,
Solution Preparation, Cell Culture, Viral Production, and
Downstream Purification as part of a 24/7 large-scale therapeutic
protein manufacturing campus with multiple facilities.KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES:Takes a lead role in all matters related to
Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM)
Planning and Scheduling within the commercial cGMP production
perimeterReceives all work orders from requesting departments and
end-users; assess work request and make decisions regarding
response time and level of planning activities based on the
priority of requested workAdapts to changing production and
maintenance needs and prioritizes work among conflicting schedules
and expectations, with limited resourcesDevelops maintenance work
packages by evaluating work orders for required permits, action
notices, job steps, spare parts, tools, labor, and opportunities
for efficienciesRepresents Manufacturing Scheduling at various
cross-functional meetings relative to Computerized Maintenance
Management System (CMMS) system, and PM / CM work/metrics/High
Priority (HP) /safety issuesPrints organizes and delivers
applicable PM paperwork to end-user departmentsProcesses PM and
Calibration extensions as neededDevelop/coordinate Action Notices
for PM/CM/Calibration work that impacts cGMP production
areasMaintains the APU Facilities schedule, ensuring that all PMs
are on the schedule so they can be scheduled with the Manufacturing
SchedulersRoutinely publishes a list of PM or CM activities that
need to be rescheduledWorks in a collaborative team environment and
interacts with other departments such as Engineering, Facilities,
Validation, Quality, Manufacturing, and MetrologyBASIC
QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma/GED/Associate degree with 6-10
years of maintenance planning experienceStrong organizational,
administrative, and analytical skillsWorking knowledge of
Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Computerized
Calibration Management System (CCMS), and/or SAPExperience working
within cross-functional teamsWorking knowledge of quality
management systemsCustomer service-oriented, works well with
internal and external customersPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's
degree with 4-8 years of experienceExperience working for a
maintenance organization in a cGMP Biotech/Pharmaceutical
manufacturing environmentKnowledge of methods, materials, tools,
and equipment used in the maintenance of a modern pharmaceutical
facilityKnowledge of industrial and manufacturing equipment with
the ability to help coordinate building shutdownsAbility to
identify potential safety hazards, LOTO requirements, and
appropriate precautions applicable to work assignmentsWorks
independently with minimal supervision and direction. Performs work
that consistently requires independent decision making and the
exercise of independent judgment and discretionSPECIAL WORKING
