SummaryWe are at an exciting junction as we verticalize our sales, marketing, and product organizations to better meet the specific needs within each of the verticals we support. Part of this transition includes investment in new products across all of our verticals. This role would support our growth strategy by partnering with each of the verticals to drive new product strategy and development. This is a new, highly visible position that would lead strategy, product development, and market approach across each of our verticals. In partnership with the vertical leads, this leader is responsible for setting the new product strategy for Definitive, test market demand, make the build/partner/buy decision if new assets or capabilities are required, lead the development of new products and modules to shape our offerings, work with the vertical leads on marketing and sales strategies and be responsible for the commercial and client value success of the launches. The role will work across our teams to proactively be responsive to client needs and identify opportunities to increase our value to clients through new product offerings and product enhancements. This leader would make decisions on pricing/packaging/bundling of products in the vertical to drive revenue growth. This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the President and having significant impact on overall company strategy and growth. It offers great exposure and opportunity to deliver compelling, scalable products in support of creating value for our customers and continuing the company's rapid commercial growth. This role will have a seat on the executive leadership team.Responsibilities

  • Create and own the vision for new products across each of our verticals, ensuring it aligns with our company vision and goals
  • Collaborate with vertical leads, sales and account management teams to understand clients, client needs, and opportunities to increase value and drive growth within each of the verticals
  • Plan and implement market demand tests and validations and product launches
  • Improve the scale, effectiveness, and predictability of the product development process
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product and product roadmap. Provide strategic insights into market, client and competitors. Partner with product leadership and teams to help drive new ideas into new products, modules, and bundlesQualifications
    • 10+ years of relevant product and/commercial experience in progressive roles with a SaaS-based product platform/suite, with a focus on product development
    • 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity or executive leadership within product development
    • Experience leading across multiple teams including product, sales, marketing, and strategy
    • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
    • Ability to manage and influence effectively both directly and through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building
    • Deep business expertise as it relates to the design and delivery of healthcare data or technology products and software.
    • Strong empathy for customers and passion for growth
