SENIOR TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST (USA)
The position works in a highly collaborative manner with the hiring managers and the HR team to understand the objectives and staffing needs for specific practice areas. This role develops and executes customized sourcing and recruiting strategies generating a pipeline of qualified candidates for current, and future open positions.

The Senior TA Specialist handles the full life cycle of the recruitment process, working closely with hiring managers in creating skilled and diverse candidate pools and assists in making the best hiring decision for each search. The Specialist also may act as Alira Health's representative at recruiting and external networking events.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
--- Manages the staffing process for a practice area to ensure a clear understanding of resource needs and position criteria
--- Creates and manages sourcing strategies utilizing a variety of methodologies such as Linked In, social media, resume mining, job postings, associations, alumni, employee referrals, etc.
--- Develops and implements effective and efficient recruiting strategies
--- Utilizes contemporary recruiting and sourcing tools such as job boards, social media, resume databases and search engines to identify active and passive candidates
--- Conducts kick-off meetings with hiring manager/s to discuss the position, the ideal candidate, advertising venues and recruitment strategies and processes for the search
--- Develops appropriate screening criteria to assess resumes and applications
--- Conducts initial phone screens to assess candidate skills, experience, salary requirements, availability and interest for roles
--- Interviews candidates as requested by hiring managers and all finalist candidates as selected
--- Provides verbal or written feedback regarding candidates to hiring managers and other stakeholders
--- Ensures that all recruiting processes are documented, consistent and efficient.
--- Works with the HR team and hiring managers to understand client departments' objectives and anticipates staffing needs
--- Develops and executes tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow to meet overall recruiting goals
--- Builds a skilled and diverse candidate pool for each search
--- Generates and maintains a pipeline of diverse qualified candidates for current and future opportunities (talent communities)
--- Provides quarterly and annual reports including key metrics for recruitment activity and results
--- Continuously identifies, builds and maintains relationships for networking and referrals
--- Conducts in-depth interview and candidate assessments by phone and on site/in-person, when applicable
--- Ensures an outstanding and consistent candidate and client management experience
--- Coaches and advises hiring managers as necessary on candidate information, interviewing process and techniques, and the offer process up to the new hires first day of employment
--- Manages the candidate and client feedback process
--- Conducts reference checks
--- Manages the offer process
--- Helps implement the ATS (applicant tracking system) and then continues to update and maintain the necessary information in the system
--- Participates in local recruiting events as necessary
--- When approved, manage external employment agency relationships and process

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
--- 5 plus years full life cycle recruiting experience, placing candidates in full-time roles
--- Prior experience working in a consulting firm and/or agency preferred
--- A successful track record of sourcing and filling positions in a fast-paced environment through a variety of sourcing techniques such as Linked In, resume mining, job boards, networking and recruiting events, etc.
--- Versatile; ability to adapt to change
--- Professionally persistent and self-driven
--- Ability to influence and negotiate
--- Courage to provide counsel to hiring managers, hiring teams, and senior business leaders representing best practices in Talent Acquisition
--- Experience participating in behaviorally-based interview techniques; strong candidate assessment skills
--- Ability to work independently and proactively
--- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
--- Sharp business acumen
--- Experience with, or understanding of, a matrixed organization
--- Successful demonstrated experience in setting a talent strategy for difficult to fill roles
--- Must have a sales mentality, is experimental and not be afraid to try new recruiting methods
--- Strong communications skills (oral and written) along with the ability to work independently
--- Self-starter and results-oriented
--- Creative and innovative thinker
--- Collaborative team player

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
--- Authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
--- Normal office working conditions including frequent sitting, standing, bending, twisting and computer monitor use.
