LocationFramingham, MA 01702Job TypeFull-timeRISE is a multi-service component of JRI Health, serving the Metrowest area (Framingham, Marlborough, Milford, and surrounding towns). RISE offers Preventive Health Care such as confidential screening for HIV, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), and viral Hepatitis, overdose education and Naloxone distribution, and HIV client services, such as medical case management and group support services for individuals affected and living with HIV/AIDS. Housed within RISE, Framingham GLASS focuses on providing a continuum of services to LGBTQ+ youth of color and their allies, ages 13-25.

The Vaccine Program Manager is responsible for the administration of COVID 19 vaccination to high-risk populations in the Metrowest region. This position will work with community partners to coordinate mobile vaccination clinics as well on-site vaccination at JRI sites. This is a full-time, exempt position funded through June 2022 and reports directly to the Director of RISE.

WHAT WE NEED:

· A creative, independent leader who will maintain appropriate inventory including PPE, vaccines and other medical supplies including the ordering, receiving, storage, transport and deployment of supplies;

· Coordinate scheduling of mobile and office-based clinics in conjunction with community partners to reach priority populations identified in service contract;

· Work collaboratively with program/agency staff to recruit patients using culturally appropriate strategies and materials that are accessible to priority populations;

· Assess patients’ eligibility for receiving a vaccine based on the most current vaccine guidance and protocols approved or issued by the Department of Public Health, making every effort to ensure only eligible individuals are vaccinated;

· Screen patients for COVID symptoms at point of service;

· Manage scheduling of appointments for first and second dose of COVID 19 vaccinations using relevant tools including vaccination cards, emails, text messages, telephone calls and scheduling applications;

· Oversee the collection of all required program data as required including entry of vaccines into MIIS system and other requirements of funders and JRI;

· Ensure proper documentation including vaccine passports, reporting to funders and submission of all reports in a timely manner;

· Ensure proper operation of all equipment including storage facilities, temperature logs, etc.;

· Coordinate the hiring, orientation, scheduling and supervision of vaccine program staff, ensuring all staff have necessary licenses, registrations or other approvals or waivers in place to perform required activities;

· Ensure program adheres to all relevant policies and procedures including standing orders for vaccine administration as well as relevant agency protocols;

· Oversee activities during office and mobile vaccine clinics including set-up, patient registration, vaccine administration, post-vaccine wellness monitoring, distribution of patient education materials, problem resolution, clean-up;

· Ensure availability of medical interpreter services;

· Appropriately and expeditiously respond to any adverse events or other medical emergencies to ensure patients receive appropriate levels of care on-site or via transport to appropriate facilities;

· Participate in program and agency meetings as directed;

· Work collaboratively with program staff.

What you have:

• Experience managing clinics or other medical offices and systems;

• Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician preferred;

• Prior experience in a medical setting;

• Strong preference for bi-lingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese;

• Proven project management experience that includes overseeing administrative systems and adhering to protocols;

• Computer proficiency including the use of scheduling software, data entry, online ordering;

• Extraordinary interpersonal skills including ability to form effective working relationships with constituents including clients, staff, community partners, funders;

• Attention to detail including adherence to workflows, policies and procedures;

• Adaptability including ability to problem-solve quickly and provide crisis intervention;

• CPR certified;

• A commitment to health equity including proven ability to work with populations disproportionately impacted by social and racial injustice including communities of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, active substance users, homeless individuals, linguistic minorities;

• Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary;

• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

• Acceptable CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information), OIG check, driving record.
