Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYThe Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for opening inventory that comes into the lab.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES--- Open and unpack specimens for the laboratory--- Integrate new deliveries into warehouse to maintain ease of use--- Work closely with and help support the warehouse--- Meet delivery companies at time of drop off to obtain specimens--- Check receipts to make sure all shipments and specimens were received--- Support inventory management and warehouse efficiency projects--- Follow up with delivery companies if shipment is running late--- Help support laboratory staff--- Other essential projects as assignedQualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS--- High school diploma--- Computer skills to include Microsoft office, familiarity with Microsoft Excel preferred.--- Strong communication skills--- Ability to meet time constraints and work well under pressure--- Must be able to lift, stoop and move shipmentsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS--- Experience working within supply chain or warehouseAdditional InformationPosition is full-time,--Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM., with overtime as needed.
