Job Title:Engineering Designer IDuration:12 Month Contract to HireLocation:Framingham, MADescription:The company is searching for 2 Designers to join their team! These Designers will be primarily responsible for working on Eversource projects. They will be using Maximo for the most part (CAD and MicroStation occasionally). They will be responsible for generating construction sketches and plots in a GIS system and generating building material lists.Qualifications--- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field.--- Minimum of 0-2 years of experience with electric utility distribution design and/or construction projects in any type of GIS system and generating building material lists--- Candidates with experience that exceeds the listed requirements may be considered for a higher-level position.Preferred but not required:--- Experience with electric utility distribution design and/or construction projects--- Maximo--- NESCJob Duties:--- Designing of overhead, URD, re-conductoring and asset replacement projects--- Underground cable/conduit distribution projects in urban and rural environments--- Maintaining compliance within client engineering and construction specification--- Identification of conflicting utilities--- Performing engineering and design calculations and work permit development.--- Maintain quality control and safe work practices and while maintaining compliance within the project scope, schedule and budgetPay Rate$19.00/HourAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
