Job Description Job Description Local CDL Driver – Brattleboro, VT Operating Area: $110,000 yearly average Paid weekly plus Benefits • Local routes within a 250-mile radius of Brattleboro, VT • No NYC driving (Greater Boston area included) Pay & Extras • $50 daily bonus ($250/week – must work all 5 days) • $20/hr safety training • $22.50 refused delivery pay • $100/day layover pay (weather or unforeseen delays) • Paid holidays if scheduled Schedule • Start times between 12:00 AM – 5:00 AM • Monday–Friday every other Saturday Job Duties • Deliver fresh & frozen groceries using 46’–53’ reefer trailers • 2–3 stops per load , ~15–20 stops per week • Usually 2 loads per day or one long load • Return product or backhaul to DC • Mix of no-touch & driver-assisted unload • Trained on pallet jack use Equipment & Perks • Assigned automatic day cabs (cannot be taken home) • Trucks average 3 years old or newer • Uniforms & steel-toe boots provided • Must have personal transportation to/from work Requirements • CDL ( REAL ID CDL recommended – some military base deliveries ) • Good customer service skills • Willing to help other local accounts as needed Why This Job? • Local New England routes • Consistent schedule & strong work-life balance • Family-style team with low turnover • Higher earning potential as pay tiers increase Powered by JazzHR v8Eweb0aP4
