Job Description:
Fidelity Investments, a global leader in financial services, is
seeking a Principal HashiCorp Vault Expert to join our IT and
Cybersecurity team in Boston, MA. As an integral part of our
cybersecurity efforts, this role focuses on securing client and
company data through the expert implementation and management of
HashiCorp Vault solutions. The successful candidate will be
responsible for designing, deploying, and managing secure access to
tokens, passwords, certificates, and encryption keys for protecting
assets across our multi-platform environment. This vital position
demands a strategic thinker who possesses a deep understanding of
cryptography and data protection technologies. Design and implement
enterprise-scale HashiCorp Vault solutions to secure sensitive data
and credentials. Develop and maintain scalable vault policies and
configure secure access paths. Monitor system performance, manage
upgrades, and execute troubleshooting as necessary. Collaborate
with IT and cybersecurity teams to align HashiCorp Vault deployment
with overall security architectures. Provide expert guidance on
cryptographic best practices and compliance with global security
standards. Lead cross-functional project teams in the
implementation of new security initiatives. Expert knowledge of
HashiCorp Vault, including setup, configuration, and
administration. Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Terraform,
Ansible) for infrastructure as code. Strong background in identity
and access management (IAM) principles. Ability to script or
program using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
