In this role, you'll help develop and productize innovative software solutions that offer customers a compelling alternative to VMware. Our team's broader mission is to deliver end-to-end solutions that position Red Hat as a leader in emerging markets, with a strong focus on upstream development and open-source community collaboration.What you will do

• Work with OpenShift, one of the Red Hat's 3 core technology pillars
• Contribute code to increase the usability, scalability, and reliability of Red Hat offerings
• Participate in peer review to increase the quality of our codebase, and triage customer issues
• Help and develop peers' capabilities through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and collaborationWhat you will bring
  • 3+ years of experience working on with virtualization technologies
  • 2+ years of experience working in a Linux environment with Golang (or similar technologies)
  • Ability to deep dive into new technologies and be productive
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated ability to debug and optimize code
  • Experience with open-source development and complex distributed systemsThe following are considered a plus
    • Experience with a container ecosystem such as Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift
    • Familiarity with any of the following topics: high-availability, storage, networking#LI-HM1The salary range for this position is $133,650.00 - $220,680.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.Pay TransparencyRed Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity.
