Location Framingham, Massachusetts, United States Category Technology Job Id 1145106 You will be responsible fordriving data-based decision making and optimization for Staples web and mobileproperties. Drive incremental sales and margin online and improve the onlinecustomer experience by generating analysis and insights on web and mobileperformance, customer behavior, voice of customer, and competitiveintelligence. Leverage multiple sources of analytics (web analytics, voice ofcustomer, competitor intelligence) to understand web site performance andvisitor behavior. Provide business insights and recommendations based onanalysis to drive increased revenue and conversion and an improved userexperience. Oversee operational reporting, ad-hoc analysis, and project ROI determination. Primary Responsibilities

• Work closely withBusiness Units, Product Development, and Product Management teams to identifyand answer important business and product questions
• Utilize strong analytics skills, business acumenand attention to detail to provide data and analysis to assist in solvingcomplex business problems
• Communicate insights and suggest improvementsbased on data and observed trends in order to advance reporting capabilities
• Works with high dimensional and fast-moving datato build continually learning systems and through your work have direct impacton revenue and bottom line
• Presents analytic output in order to soundlycommunicate to stakeholders to inform strategic and tactical decision makingand guide business decisions
• Work oncross-functional teams to develop novel methods for analyzing and presentingdata
• Typically manages individual contributors andensures their ongoing training and development
• Communicates insights to executive leadership Qualifications : Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in mathematics, statistics, computer science, Information systems, or a directly related field plus 7 years of Analytics experience
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Omniture, SiteCatalyst, and/or Google Analytics
  • Expertise with SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to break down complex problems
  • Strong interpersonal skills; a team player
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation skills Preferred Skills
