seeks a Preclinical Pharmacologist (R1-R4) to design and plan in
vivo experiments to support preclinical characterization and
evaluation of novel therapeutic molecules. Perform animal handling
and dosing, including subcutaneous, intravenous, and
intraperitoneal injections. Conduct small animal stereotaxic
surgeries, including intracerebral and intracerebroventricular
injections. Perform central nervous system (CNS) tissue dissection,
trimming, and processing. Support experimental design, integrated
data analysis, and communication of results to scientific teams and
management. Support technology development to improve delivery of
novel therapeutics to CNS regions of interest. LI-DNI Position
requires a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biomedical Engineering,
Neuroscience, or a related field, and 2 years of experience with in
vivo models and assays to support neuroscience-related drug
discovery projects. Experience must include a minimum of: 2 years
of experience with designing and executing in vivo pharmacological
experiments; 2 years of experience with dosing animal models in
vivo, including intracranial injections; 2 years of experience with
collection of bodily fluids from in vivo animal models; 2 years of
experience with CNS tissue dissection and processing; and 2 years
of experience with processing, organizing, and visualizing
experimental data. Up to 5% domestic and international travel

location. The anticipated wage for this position is $125,794
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company
bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
