PURPOSE:As experienced Payroll Associate you will be assisting and supporting on processing and managing payroll duties for Lifeline USA in Framingham, managing payroll related projects, and providing timely and accurate payroll reporting and data to the business. The Payroll Associate will serve as a liaison between Lifeline and our current payroll vendor assisting with preparation and processing of our bi-weekly payroll, explaining payroll information to employees, and assisting with investigating and resolving both day to day project type problems and issues. To be successful as a Payroll Associate, you should be strictly confidential, possess exceptional mathematical skills, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and maintain the core values of the organization. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist and support end to end preparation and processing of the bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now, in timely fashion to adhere to payroll deadlines.
  • Assist and support preparation of timekeeping files to import into the payroll system.
  • Address and resolve any employee queries on payroll and taxes and garnishments.
  • Support the management of the communication with employees and other Department Managers around the business to obtain relevant information and approvals required for payroll processing.
  • Assist with any payroll related audits, reviews and/ or any special payroll related projects
  • Prepare tax locations set up in ADP for new states and local agencies. Keep up to date with relevant legislation changes and ensure compliance across all payroll locations.
  • Assist with providing necessary reports after payroll processing to Finance teams.
  • Work closely with wider HR team to provide outstanding support for the business.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned.
    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
    • Associate's degree preferred and a minimum of two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
    • Strong problem solving and mathematical skills.
    • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now, strongly preferred.
    • Familiar with multi-state, multi-jurisdiction payroll tax.
    • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Superior customer service skill.
    • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
    • Ability to work independently and to organize and prioritize work
    • Must have professional verbal communications skills and strong attention to detail
    • Efficient data entry skills are required and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
    • Preferred knowledge of automated payroll systems
    • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload
    • Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management
