Bonus: $3,000, $1,500 at 3 months, $1,500 at 6 months Job Summary: The HRIS Specialist is responsible for managing the life cycle transactions of an employee in the Ceridian Dayforce platform. The ideal candidate for this role is organized, process driven and has a great attention to detail! She/He must be comfortable working independently, with the flexibility to change priorities, as the needs of the department change. The ideal candidate will also be able to handle a fast-paced work environment while being able to handle sensitive and confidential information. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Human Resources Department and make an impact in the organization. This is a non-exempt position.Supervisory Responsibilities: None Reports To: HRIS Manager Essential Functions of Position: --- Inputs, supports and maintains data integrity in all HRIS systems function for all employees. --- Creates, maintains, and distributes various reports on an ad-hoc basis --- Assists in creating reports for state and federal compliance such as AAP, EEOC, Vets-4212 --- Manages life cycle transactions such as new hires, change of status forms, transfers, and terminations. --- Performs quality checks of benefits-related data and reports to ensure accuracy --- Responds promptly to inquiries, with an exceptional level of customer service --- Monthly purge on the employee roster --- Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation --- Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRMS upgrades or patches. --- Provides user training and hands-on support --- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements --- Maintains knowledge of emerging trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology --- Conducts ongoing research into issues and best practices. Through classes, reading, or other mechanisms, continuously increases both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge. --- Participates in user group meetings/conferences --- Perform other duties, as assigned Qualifications: --- 2+ years of HR experience, preferably direct experience dealing with HR data --- At least 1 year of HRIS experience. Direct experience with Dayforce is preferred --- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications especially Excel (e.g. Vlook-ups, IF function, Pivot Tables, etc.) and the Google platform --- Attentive, autonomous, and adept to deal with ambiguity --- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity in dealing with HR data --- Strong attention to detail --- Ability to evaluate problems, apply knowledge and produce quick results --- High level of responsiveness and strong customer service focus --- Strong written and oral communication skills; works well in a team environment --- Experience in a retail and/or field environment highly desirable. Vaccine Mandate Policy: All new employees, interns, and volunteers will be required to be fully vaccinated (14 days beyond last shot of Pfizer or Moderna or 14 days beyond receiving a Johnson and Johnson vaccine), or have received the first shot in a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) with an appointment scheduled for the second dose. A 2nd dose must be received within six weeks of hire.
