    Specialist

    Salary Range: $20.00 - $21.50/hour

    Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is hiring for a Human Resources Specialists! We provide a supportive culture that is team-focused and places value on healthy work dynamics.

    What you will do:
    • Administrative: Complete the onboarding process of new hires. Assist the department in carrying out various functions across all areas Payroll/Benefits/HR/Recruiting. Assist the distribution of paperwork to staff and program directors. Responsible for data entry relating to onboarding, trainings, certifications, etc. Assist in the new hire paperwork process, meets with all new hires to go over paperwork. Assist in pre-service orientation. Assist with correspondence, reports, data collection and entry, and mailings. Develop forms, spreadsheets, and other documentation as needed. Assist with recruiting helping keep postings accurate and providing support in phone screenings.
    • Technical Support: Responsible for assisting staff with the HRIS system.
    • Job Description/TasksAdministrative: Assist the department in carrying out various functions. Assist the distribution of paperwork to staff and program directors. Responsible for data entry relating to performance evaluations. Assist in the new hire paperwork process, meets with all new hires to go over paperwork. Assist in pre-service orientation. Files all HR, Benefits and Payroll paperwork. Assist with correspondence, reports, data collection and entry, and mailings. Develop forms, spreadsheets, and other documentation as needed. Process New Hires through On-Boarding. Management of Badge System. Management of Out-boarding process (exit interviews and termination process).

      Compliance:
      Processes and maintains all CORI's and MV checks, annually administers and re-checks CORIs. Responsible for maintaining current log of all staff credentialing, online training, and performance evaluations. Management of monthly HR Reporting and auditing. Complete monthly exclusion audit. Complete monthly OIG and SAM audit. Complete renewal CORI checks. Complete renewal MVR checks. Complete Driver's license renewal checks. Complete MV insurance renewal checks. Complete professional License renewals checks. Complete medical malpractice insurance renewals checks. Complete renewal EEC CORIs. Complete renewal Fingerprinting and follow-up on new hire Fingerprinting checks. Complete Relias annual trainings checks. Complete CPR/1st aid renewal checks. Management of CORI, Motor Vehicle & I9 Documentation. Assists with Employment Verification, Education Verification and Credentialing.
      Technical Support: Responsible for assisting staff with the HRIS system.
      Event Coordination: Management and coordination of Wayside Training Institute. Management of Pre-Service Orientation.

          • Bachelor's Degree
          • At least 1+ year experience within a business setting.
          • Some experience with Excel, Office 365, and HRIS systems.We love it if folks have any of these (but not required)
            • At least 2+ year experience within a business setting.
            • Experience with a diverse, multicultural population includingWe can train you in: Ceridian Dayforce and Excel upon hire. Plus, a ton of other things like Courageous Conversations, Motivational Interviewing
