Your success matters to us, evident in the enduring careers of many designers who have built 5, 10, even 15 years with Norfolk.Requirements:Responsibilities:-- Follow the Norfolk Design & Sales Process: Ensure a consistent and exceptional customer experience by adhering to the Norfolk design and sales process.-- Collaborate with the Team: As a kitchen and bath designer, you will work closely with the showroom team and coordinate with other support teams, such as delivery, construction, and customer service.-- Design, Estimate & Measure Projects: Create customized and functional designs for kitchens and baths, utilizing precise measurement skills to ensure a proper fit.-- Achieve Sales and Margin Goals: Strive to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly & annual targets.-- Cultivate Lasting Relationships: Build and nurture enduring relationships with homeowner and builder clients.-- Attend Training and Events: Stay informed about the latest design trends and industry changes by actively participating in training sessions and events.Requirements:-- Extensive knowledge of kitchen cabinet design, product offerings, and related vendors.-- Proficiency in 20/20 design software.-- Ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written).-- Strong organization and project management ability.-- Team-oriented-- Strong aptitude for calculations (measurements, gross profit).-- Proficient with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfortable working within a shared folder setup.-- Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including some weekends (Saturdays).Education and Experience:-- 3+ years in relationship-based sales, preferably in kitchen and bath design.-- Track record of meeting sales goals and contributing to team success.-- Knowledge of interior design and building materials is beneficial.Physical Requirements:-- Valid driver's license for travel to customer sites.-- Ability to perform physical job tasks as needed.-- Ability to articulate, write, and read in English.-- Comfortable sitting and working with PC-related tasks for extended periods.-- Comfortable navigating around construction machinery and other potential site hazards if necessaryPerks:-- Competitive salary with commission incentives.-- Full benefits package, including health, dental, and Norfolk-paid life insurance.-- 401k with generous company match.-- Professional development and career growth opportunities-- Positive and inclusive workplace culture.-- Employee discounts and additional perksAbout UsNorfolk Kitchen and Bath is a division of The Norfolk Companies.
