Ken's Steak House is an upscale, family-owned restaurant located
in Framingham, MA, that has been in business for over 80 years. The
Sous Chef/Line Cook will prepare all food to recipe standards and
proper temperatures. Should be versed in food, health and safety
standards, and be experienced in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Your duties will include recruiting new employees, responding to
customer issues, and developing new menu options. You should have
excellent communication skills with in-depth knowledge of several
cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes.
Requirements: Minimum of Associate's degree in culinary science or
relevant field. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
We are willing to train all hires. Strong knowledge of cooking
methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices. Good understanding
of MS Office and restaurant software programs. Teamwork-oriented
with outstanding leadership abilities. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Upbeat, positive individuals who contribute
to a great dining experience team. Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
