If you are ready for this challenge, please apply today!What to Expect:- Competitive pay / Bonus- Complete benefits package: Medical, dental, vision, 401K matching, PTO- Fast-paced environment- Opportunity to build a team from the ground up.- Have a strong influence on launching and solidifying the businessIn this role, you will manage and oversee the opening of the store in mid March and daily operations once the store opens.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all aspects of business profitability- Responsible for hiring, supervising and training staff- Work closely with owners to set strategy and direction of the Store- Develop plans for increased Store profitability- Market H&R Roofing Supply to internal and external customer base through advertising and manufacturer information/incentives- Oversee all branch personnel to assure that they are reaching their full potential.- Responsible for building and maintaining morale in the Store.- Communicate regularly with vendors to establish and maintain strong relationships.- Act as a safety leader and be responsible for executing on safety best practices.- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.- Promptly communicate all vital store specific information to owners and advisors.- Anticipate levels of inventory to meet delivery and service expectations of all customers.- Complete all WC/Accident reporting.- Conduct performance appraisals for all direct reports.Professional Skills- Knowledge of building material or contracting business.- Track record of building and maintaining relationships with people, customers, vendors, and employees.- Ability and willingness to work with employees to satisfy individual needs- Time management skills.- Ability to prioritize many tasks.- Ability to delegate tasks.- Effective negotiator.Must Have Experience- At least two years of experience as a people manager.- Customer service experience.- Experience in the building products or construction contracting industry.What will distinguish you from the rest- You are fluent in either Spanish or Portuguese.- You have prior experience as a store manager.Because of the nature of the role, you will need to have a valid driver's license for sporadic drives to customer sites.H&R Roofing Supply is an Equal Opportunity Employer
