Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Supervisor to lead
our team of healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional
patient care across our integrated facilities. This role will
oversee nursing operations, ensuring that our patients receive care
that not only meets but exceeds their healthcare needs. As a Nurse
Supervisor, you will blend a mix of strategic leadership skills,
clinical expertise, and a commitment to quality improvement to
contribute to the seamless integration of patient care services
across multiple platforms, enhancing our mission to offer
comprehensive healthcare services. Supervise and mentor nursing
staff to ensure high standards of patient care and compliance with
healthcare regulations. Coordinate patient care services with
multiple healthcare team members, optimizing efficiency and patient
outcomes. Implement and monitor healthcare protocols and policies
to uphold safety and quality standards. Conduct regular staff
evaluations and develop training programs to improve staff
competency. Manage patient care logistics, from admission to
discharge, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of care.
Participate in budgeting and clinical resource allocation to
optimize service delivery within financial guidelines. Strong
leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Proficient in healthcare management systems
and electronic health records Ability to handle high-stress
environments and make critical decisions Familiarity with
healthcare regulations and accreditation standards Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
