Job Description:

Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse III to join our Adult Emergency Department. Our facility is a hub of innovation in healthcare, integrating educational excellence, cutting-edge research, and comprehensive patient care. The role demands a high degree of professional competence in a fast-paced and demanding environment, offering an opportunity to dramatically impact the lives of patients while working in a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and injured patients in the Emergency Department. Perform assessments, develop a care plan, and ensure its implementation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary health teams to enhance patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on health conditions and home care needs. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans. Adhere to hospital safety standards and protocols to ensure patient and staff safety. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Triage Emergency care Critical thinking and problem-solving Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred
