Job Description:
Job Description Job Description The X-ray Supervisor, at the
direction of the Manager of Radiology will: Perform the duties of
an Xray Technologist. Oversee the technical and compliance measures
of all operations in Xray. Assist with scheduling employees to
ensure staffing meets patient volume needs. Participate in the
hiring process of new staff. Oversee technical procedures, patient
care and workflow for safe and effective patient care. Provide
guidance for other staff members and facilitate collaboration with
all levels of departmental personnel. The position is part of the
rotating weekend on-call rotation 8 AM to 12 PM on Saturday and
Sunday mornings. Requirements: Associate's degree or equivalent
from an approved Medical Radiographic Program. At least three years
of experience in Xray Two years of experience as a lead tech or
Radiology supervisor Effective communication skills Participating
in ACR accreditation is a plus.
