working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN
in Derry, New Hampshire, 03038! Job Title: ICU RN Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have:
Medical and Surgical ICU experience, AIBP experience & CCRN
preferred Description: General information: Number of beds on the
unit is 8. Patient ratios are 2:1. The unit has a mixed patient
population and operates as an open ICU. The goal is to staff 4 RNs
24/7. Type of equipment includes cardiac monitors and ventilators.
The documentation system used is Meditech. Self-scheduling is
encouraged. Every two weeks scheduling is preferred. Floating to
critical care or intermediate care areas may be required when
needed. Patient experience requirements include AIDET validation
during orientation. The unit focuses on nurse communication,
ensuring nurses listen carefully and explain things in an
understandable way. Whiteboard use and hourly rounding are standard
practices. Bedside care conferences and hand-offs are conducted
regularly. Additional certifications of the facility include Joint
Commission Gold Seal of Approval for Healthcare Quality and Safety,
stroke, orthopedic/spine, and chest pain accreditation. Awards
received include Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade A and Healthgrades
Patient Safety Excellence Award. The environment promotes advanced
