Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system renowned for

for our M5/C5 Vascular Surgery Unit. This role is pivotal in
providing top-tier nursing care specifically tailored to patients
undergoing vascular surgeries. The candidate will work alongside a
team of dedicated healthcare professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced
environment where patient care is prioritized and innovative
treatments are the norm. Provide comprehensive nursing care for
patients undergoing vascular surgeries. Assess, plan, and implement
nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly. Educate
patients and their families about treatments and healthcare
maintenance post-surgery. Maintain accurate patient records and
provide data to healthcare team members as needed. Ensure
compliance with all hospital policies and procedures. Participate
in continuous education to stay updated with advancements in
vascular nursing care. Strong clinical skills with a focus on
vascular health Proficiency in using medical software for patient
care management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Critical
thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse
(RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
