Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Progressive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per
Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of recent
equivalent experience License: RN License (State Residency Proof
Required) Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Chest tubes -
Drips such as Diltiazem, Heparin, Lasix, Insulin, or Amiodarone -
Lines/Tubes/Drains for post-surgical patients -
Trachs/Laryngectomies - Telemetry - Complex wounds - Central Lines
care and maintenance and blood draws - Hemodynamic monitoring -
Invasive BP monitoring through arterial lines - Nitro, Primacor,
Dobutamine, and Dopamine drips - Bi-PAP/ C-PAP - Low dose pressors,
vasoactive meds, and inotropes - External pacers, epicardial wires,
and TR bands Description: RN needed for ASAP start. 36 hours per
week. 48 beds of step-down level of care for cardiology, EP, and
cardiac surgical patients. Includes Cardio Thoracic surgical
patients, pre and post CHF, telemetry, vascular, Pulmonary HTN, and
temporary pacers. RN patient ratios: Days 1:3, Nights 1:4-5,
depending on acuity. Experience with complex wounds and
post-surgical patient care is required. Ability to manage multiple
drips and perform invasive monitoring is essential. Familiarity
with respiratory support and emergency medications is necessary.
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are essential in
this role.
