Job Description Vastek Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN) Facility: Berkshire Health System Location: Pittsfield, MA Contract Type: Travel Assignment Shift: Nights, 3x12s Position Overview: Berkshire Health System is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical RN to join its team for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate must be flexible, highly skilled, and willing to float to any med-surg unit as needed. This role is best suited for adaptable travelers who thrive in dynamic inpatient care settings. Unit Expectations & Requirements: - Must be willing to float to any medical-surgical unit across the facility (Required) - Block scheduling is not allowed - Minimum 2 years of current Med-Surg experience (Required) - Telemetry experience (Required) - Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia Course (Strongly Preferred) - Experience with Meditech Expanse (Strongly Preferred) - Must have a vehicle for commuting between possible units or locations Certifications (Must be active and uploaded with submission): - BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA Only) - ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA Only) - NIHSS – Stroke Scale Certification Note: Facility will not pend any required certifications — they must be valid and uploaded at time of submission.
