About the Job: The Registered Dietitian (RD) (Outpatient) provides clinical expertise for the education, management and behavioral counseling for persons. The incumbent will educate patients of all ages and their families/caregivers and will promote and disseminate quality diabetes and nutrition information to professionals as well as patients. What You’ll Do: - Provides person-centered Medical Nutrition Therapy to individuals and groups of all ages (adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics). - Member of interdisciplinary team supporting endocrinology and primary care practices. - The population served includes people with diabetes, prediabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome, digestive health, lipid management, food allergies, weight management, failure to thrive, chronic kidney disease, and oncology. Who You Are: - BS in Nutrition or Dietetics, with training in all age groups required. - Licensure as a Registered and Licensed Dietitian required. - Member of the American Dietetic Association required. - A minimum of one year of experience in nutritional counseling in an outpatient setting and conducting group classes required. - CDCES, NDPP Health Coach, experience with FOD Map. - Epic experience, preferred!
