Job Description:

Location: Suffolk County Nashua Street Jail in Boston, MA Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm Pay rate: $28.85/hour ($60,000 annually) The Counselor is responsible for: Providing evidence based psycho-education according to approved curriculum to offenders and completing required documentation. Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time-off Tuition reimbursement 401K with company contribution Discounts on wide array of services/entertainment Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human services, criminal justice education or closely related field required CADC, LADC II or other comparable certification/license or equivalent experience with substance use treatment groups/services preferred. Experience working with justice involved individuals and/or in a correctional setting preferred. Staff must be able to pass extensive background check and pass drug screening *CA *CB
