Job Description:

*Registered Dietician**Job Responsibilities:** Helps ensure resident menu selections are in compliance with prescribed diet order, texture, allergies, nutritional adequacy, age, cultural background, and religious practice.* Writes and modifies menus as needed according to resident preferences and dietary needs using established resources/guidelines.* Visits with residents to assess meal satisfaction.* Ensures diet orders and changes have been shared with Food Service Director.* Prints and processes client food service reports, including meal census and food tally report.* Records all assigned data such as client meal census and floor stock requests on paper logs or spreadsheet.* Helps resolve resident requests and complaints or relays to appropriate staff.* Assists with delivery service as needed, including assembling patient trays, loading carts, and delivering meals to patients.* Attends care plan meetings.* Enters notes into Point Click Care (PCC.)* Helps resolves problems with patient trays.* Provides general information on diet utilizing approved materials and resources.* Monitors for significant weight loss.*Dietician Qualifications / Skills:** Dietary health promotion and maintenance* Teamwork and team management* Listening, analyzing information, and focusing on quality*Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:** Bachelors degree in food, nutrition, food service management, or related field* Registered Dietitian (RD) by Commission on Dietetic Registration* Accredited Dietetic Internship (DI) by the American Dietetic Association (ADA)* Food Handlers permit or ServeSafe certification as per state requirementsJob Type: Part-timePay: $40.00 - $44.00 per hourExpected hours: 8 12 per weekMedical Specialty:* GeriatricsSchedule:* Day shiftLicense/Certification:* Registered Dietitian (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Framingham, MA 01702: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In personby Jobble
