Job Description:
The TELE RN is responsible for taking care of patients that must
have special monitoring, frequently including patients recently
released from the ICU.ResponsibilitiesAs a Telemetry Nurse your
responsibilities consist of:
Distributing prescribed medications and operating life measuring
equipment.
Interpreting data produced from various medical equipment and act
upon findings.
Giving updates to the patient and their family members about their
condition.
Educating patients about the best ways to adjust to major lifestyle
changes.
RequirementsOne year of experience as a Telemetry Registered Nurse
within the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
