Sign On Bonus: $4,000 1/2 of the amount to be paid at 6 months and the other 1/2 to be paid at 12 months of hireMust be an MSW and working towards licensure, MA, or MEd. Job Summary: The mission of the CASPAR Women's residential programs is to provide a safe environment and comprehensive clinical program to women in early recovery. This is to be provided in a respectful and compassionate manner, through the development of individualized treatment and aftercare planning.Your position as Clinical Director supports this mission in your job to regularly assist in the day-to-day administration, program development and clinical operations for the CASPAR Women's Programs. This is an exempt position. Supervisory Responsibilities:Recruits, interviews and arranges the hiring of new clinical / case management staffPlans work schedule for clinical staff Organizes or coordinates with other managers all in-service programs for staffProvides individual and group supervision to Counselors, Case Managers, Recovery Specialists Supports these staff in developing skill in responding to complex issues such as co-occurring disorders and traumaEssential Functions of Position:Clinical:Plan, organize and carry out general clinical management duties on the unitOrient, instruct and supervise clinical staffPerform duties of direct clinical staff as requiredReview and interpret work performance of clinical staff against accepted standards and job descriptionsReview and evaluate patients' clinical records including treatment plans, counseling and case management progress notes, psychosocial assessments and signed consent formsAssure that patients have a clean, comfortable and safe environmentEvaluate and assess social, psychological and motivational needs of the patientMake independent decisions regarding counseling and case management practiceEvaluate emergencies to determine emergency measures necessary, keep program director notified and complete incident reportsPerform duties of clinical line staff as needed. Supervisors may conduct assessments and provide individual and group services to residents requiring additional support as a result of co-occurring disorders and/or traumaProgram Management and Operations:Mediate staff differences, handles personnel grievances or refers them to the program directorMaintain statistics as directed and prepare reports as requiredMaintain compliance with federal, state and accreditation codes for acute treatment servicesAttend multidiscipline case conference dailyCoordinate in-service education and trainingAct as an administrative resource in absence of program directorOrganize and monitor in-service and orientation program for all staffRepresent the program director in his/her absenceDevelop and implement policies and procedures as part of management teamWork with program director to analyze and evaluate all staff needsPerform other duties as assigned by program directorRequirements for the position:Professional Qualifications:Must have completed a master's degree in Social Work or one of the following disciplines: clinical psychology, education-counseling, social work; OR possess a LADC1Should have at least two years supervisory experience and two year's experience in direct clinical supervision of staff is preferredCertificate in substance abuse treatment preferredAt least two year's experience in substance abuse or mental health settingThorough knowledge of dual diagnosis and treatment resources available in the substance abuse and mental health fieldsDemonstrated documentation and communication skillsPersonal Qualifications:Ability to think creatively/brainstorm Ability to work as a management and treatment team member as well as independentlyAbility to interpret principals of good management and implement application of these principals in daily workDemonstrated organizational skillsAbility to function under pressure in a fast-paced human services environmentAbility to negotiate and resolve differencesAbility to be flexible, open and responsive to ongoing industry changesAbility to articulate and communicate Bay Cove's mission and strategic direction in a consistent and enthusiastic manner to departmental staffA COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement of the position. One COVID-19 shot is acceptable, contingent on the individual receiving the second shot within the allotted time frame.Physical Qualifications: N/A
