We have an opening for a Bilingual RN with a well-known accredited nursing home that specializes in taking care of retired Veterans. Located in Chelsea, MA Facts about the role: - The Nursing Home is looking for either Spanish-English OR Portuguese-English speaking nurses to help with training the current staff - Ideal candidates would have 2+ years of experience as a Nurse Educator - This is day shift position: either 8a-4p or 9a-5p - The pay range for this role is $50/hr - $70/hr based on experience - Free parking Responsibilities: - Leading RN staff training and orientations - Assist in the creation and presentation of training for current and future use. - Supervises nursing staff and veteran care activities on assigned units. - Participates in interdisciplinary team processes to integrate nursing into a coordinated plan of care with all other Support Services. - Interacts with appropriate management personnel regarding Veteran care and related issues. - Ensures that Veteran care goals are mutually established with Veterans, families and staff. - Plans for optimal utilization of staff for the delivery of nursing care throughout the 24 hour/7 day a week period. - Develops systems for the evaluation of Veteran care by reviewing medical records, patient charts, report findings, actions and follow-up through the Quality Improvement process. - Utilizes appropriate resources within the facility to identify and provide education, technical or information services needed for staff and Veterans. - Provides feedback and performance evaluation to assigned staff; documents staff performance matters through progressive discipline when appropriate.
