Who we are looking for

A Program Manager who can lead and grow programs with key clients that span the breadth of our capabilities. These programs will require assembling, leading, and coordinating members of our innovation, design, engineering, software, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. Being successful in this role means that you are an excellent communicator, have the foresight to identify and ameliorate risks in advance, and can balance multiple, complex projects in parallel.

What you get to do

You will be responsible for concurrently running multiple large scale programs that support Re:Build's objectives. This person will be the client's primary point of contact and have the responsibility of successfully meeting program milestones on time and on budget, as well as looking for opportunities to scale the program with this client or apply similar services to other clients. Program Managers will support Re:Build business development efforts as a technical lead in the development of initial client relationships, as well as supporting the development of work plans with potential clients.

  • Build and drive project plans for highly complex, and initially undefined programs, from initial requirements statement, through to manufacturing, including developing manufacturing processes and facilities.
  • Lead and be a significant technical contributor to program feasibility studies, technology development, product development, and transition to manufacturing for complex products or systems.
  • Lead and be a significant technical contributor to manufacturing concept feasibility studies, and factory and automation systems design to support the scaleup from low to high volume production of highly complex products or systems.
  • Work across teams to identify project dependencies and build out detailed development cycle timelines.
  • Drive programs to completion while ensuring that the budget, resource, and timeline constraints are maintained.
  • Facilitate creative solutions to unanticipated events and unforeseen demands to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Facilitate regular communication between the client and team leads, and communication of project status to Re:Build leadership.
  • Assist with internal process development and standardization for product deployments.
  • Coordinate and track product certification efforts with regulatory bodies.
  • Facilitate iterative product cost down efforts. What you bring to the Team

    • Eight+ years of full-time work experience in a technical project management role with a heavy engineering focus.
    • A proven ability to influence others to work cooperatively and meet deadlines without having direct line supervisory responsibility.
    • Demonstrated success bringing technically complex programs or products to completion on-time and on-budget while providing the client exceptional service.
    • Experience managing timelines, requirements, budgets, and metrics for technically complex products for commercial customers.
    • Experience managing timelines for products subjected to regulatory certification like UL, CE, CSA, etc.
    • Demonstrated ability to navigate supply chains for ordering processes and the associated lead times.
    • Certifications in Program and/or Project Management preferred.
    • Experience using project management tools like Smartsheet, MS Project, ClickUp, Asana, Confluence (or equivalent).
