Job Description:

The Project Manager (PM) has full responsibility for an entire project. They are responsible for safety, quality, schedule, coordination, and progress of the work. The PM will be the first point of contact for the owner. The PM will be responsible for one or more projects depending on contract amounts and project demand. Principal/Essential Duties & Responsibilities
--- Estimating
--- Correspondence and negotiations with client
--- Subcontract and purchase order preparation and approval
--- M/W/DBE selection, auditing, and compliance
--- Scheduling oversight
--- Invoice approval
--- Site staff personnel management
--- Control estimate preparation
--- Job cost reviews
--- Change order and claim preparation
--- Monitoring of compliance with quality and safety standards
--- Monitoring of project for compliance with applicable law
--- Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Competencies Communication - possesses excellent oral presentation and written skills. Organizational ability - able to plan, prioritize, organize and monitor activities and projects. Able to work well -in a group environment and foster a team approach. Knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, -and PowerPoint. Knowledge with Primavera P6 Scheduling Software, AutoCAD, and or Procore is a plus Interpersonal - able to work well and persuade -people at all organization levels As a prerequisite, a Project Manager (Mechanical) typically will have a minimum of 12 years' overall experience managing HVAC/Mechanical projects or 8 years of experience with a Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree. - -Required to work at job site or corporate office. This is a full time in person position.
