$500 Sign-on Bonus! -Advocates is seeking enthusiastic, motivated team players to provide emotional support and daily care to individuals in a residential setting within our Deaf Services community! -Advocates promotes a healthy work-life balance and offers many generous perks of employment and room for advancement. - We are a strong-knit community that values the ideas and contributions of our staff. -The Assistant Program Manager is responsible for supervising the daily activities of the clients, providing ongoing support, guidance and role modeling and facilitating client improvement in the areas of personal responsibility, social skills, community living skills and behavior. - -Are you ready to make a difference?

Minimum Education Required:
High School Diploma/GED

Provide ongoing support, guidance, support, role modeling and mentorship to clients and staff.Ensure a clean, sage and home-like environment for clients.Participate in the development of the Individual Service Plan (ISP) and attend other treatment meetings, including Program Specific Treatment Plans (PSTP) and weekly staff meetings.Perform interventions with clients that address their identified goals and result in skill development.Provide linkage with other program staff and other service providers.Communicate program participants' progress, mental status, and any changes in daily notes.Monitor and document medication administration.Perform, coordinate, and/or monitor a range of programmatic clinical and administrative responsibilites as delegated by supervisor. -

Must be fluent in -American Sign Language (ASL).Bachelor's Degree in related field and two years' experience; or high school diploma/GED and three years' related experience.Must hold a valid driver's license, have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport clients.Excellent interpersonal, judgement and coaching skills.Strong communication skills.Ability to utilize basic computer applications.Desire to thrive in a fast-paced, client-centered, team-oriented environment.Demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations. -At Advocates, the health and safety of the people in our care, our employees, and the broader community is our top priority.
