Loyalty is a critical element of the Retail business strategy, and the Senior Manager - Loyalty and Payments Marketing will play an integral role in shaping its future. This role is responsible for developing innovative, customer-centric strategies to differentiate Staples Retail and drive engagement. This high-visibility role encompasses Retail loyalty strategy and program management, as well Retail payment offerings and relationships. The Sr. Manager role is highly collaborative and cross-functional, partnering across a variety of Home Office and Field functions to continuously improve performance and impact.

    Key Deliverables
    • Develop and execute loyalty strategy and roadmap, influenced by customer insights, program performance and robust testing
    • Evaluate program benefits and be a key contributor to evolving loyalty benefits and program structure
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of a 15M+ member multi-channel loyalty program; Seek opportunities to further deliver seamless execution and a positive customer experience
    • Develop, execute and test personalized lifecycle communications to drive customer LTV
    • Partner closely with Analytics and Merchandising to maximize Staples, vendor and customer opportunities
    • Serve as Marketing business lead for loyalty and payment-related technical projects/enhancements
    • Engage with Retail store teams to advocate for and grow programs
    • Lead relationships with Retail payment providers, advocating for the evolving needs of our customers
    • Develop, grow, and retain team of high-performing associates

      Essential skills and experience:
      • Bachelor's degree, Masters a plus
      • 8+ years Marketing, with direct experience managing a multi-channel loyalty program; Managing Retail payment relationships a plus
      • Ability to both lead customer-centric strategy and manage technical/tactical execution
      • Results-oriented and data driven, with a passion for the customer and comfort with change
