Digital Asset Manager

Job Description:


The Digital Asset Manager will maintain and promote our US Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution. They will be the lead in areas of technical system maintenance, marketing processes and procedures, communications, metadata creation and consistency, training, and user support. She/He will be responsible for managing, mentoring, reviewing, sharing and enforcing best practices with our outside agencies and internal brand design team who should be doing most of the physical file uploads and adding metadata to the system.

They will work closely with the brand teams, the internal brand design group, key functional partners including Industrial Affair (IA) and outside agencies to ensure all marketing assets source files are submitted to the DAM team with accurate metadata and using a common process.

They will also work closely with the Senior Manager of Digital Content & Creative Excellence and the Head of Brand Design for escalation issues or when key decisions about system functionality and/or policies or processes need to be created or modified. He/She will work as part of the larger Content & Creative Excellence Team to help improve content/creative/copy effectiveness across all consumer touchpoints for all creative designed and produced across U.S. CHC encompassing 14 brands and over 7k creative assets.

Job Summary:

Leverage Widen University (DAM) and other trainings to become the internal subject-matter-expert on Digital Asset Management, the Widen tool and the US CHC version of the DAM/DAL.

Act as the US lead/representative for the global DAM rollout and partner with the Head of Brand Design on integration with workflow (Webcenter/Esco), sales (PERS and/or SalesForce), our future PIM (if implemented) and other tools in the design & creative tech stack.

Identify and train various marketing asset creators and agencies to efficiently and effectively submit assets for integration into the system. Provide ongoing training for various agencies and employees as needed

Create, communicate and help enforce processes and procedures to acquire proper files and appropriate metadata throughout the different user groups

Track performance and gather user feedback on a yearly basis to continue to improve the system, processes and training.

Create and support "best practices" to improve the system, various processes, SLA's and communication opportunities. This includes the ease of searching, user experience, identifying any bottlenecks for general and admin users, etc.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university

+5 years of work experience with major packaged goods, consumer health care or brand design/creative agency experience preferred

A working knowledge of agency & design workflows, basic design/production knowledge of various file types

Experience with digital asset management, preferred but not required

Demonstrated experience of continuous learning and highly organized, results oriented, schedule driven with good written and oral communication skills

The ability to work effectively with people face to face and virtually to identify and gather assets

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, diplomacy, credibility and ability to negotiate. Position requires extensive interaction with agencies, brands and other cross functional partners
