throughout Greater Boston and southeastern Massachusetts. The Vice
President of Addiction & Homeless Services (VP of A&HS)
provides innovative leadership in the development, operation, and
delivery of excellent quality services and outcomes for all Bay
Cove A&HS programs. Job Summary:The VP brings passionate
advocacy to addressing racial, health, and housing equity on behalf
of persons impacted by substance use and co-occurring behavioral
and complex health conditions. Advocate for social policies,
funding/reimbursement, and integration of services across all
systems of care that reduce stigma, marginalization, and that
affirmatively bring opportunities and hope for the future to
impacted individuals and their families. Given the increasing rates
of fatal overdoses and shortened life expectancy (averaging 50
years) for those impacted by substance addiction and homelessness,
the VP must work to engage all A&HS staff to do all that is
possible to offer services that disrupt the many barriers that
interfere with each person's access to care, treatment, health and
social services, housing, self-agency, and a life worth living.
Foster work environments that are welcoming, inclusive, respectful

contributions. Support the diversity of persons served throughout
our programs, all our employees, and ensure that our A&HS
program leadership is representative of this diversity and
richness. Serve as an invested change agent in relation to persons
served, colleagues, key partners, and engages in 1:1, programmatic,
agency, and industry initiatives that realize our DEI (Diversity,
Equity, and Inclusion) intentions and realization of strategic
objectives. The VP will be a problem solver and collaborator who
works in the service of the agency's overall strategic objectives
and mission. Supervisory Responsibilities:Supervises and supports
all A&HS senior leadership directors in the delivery of
addiction and homeless/housing services. Steps in to supervise
Program Directors and other key personnel in the absence senior
leaders of A&HS.Provides back up on call to A&HS leadership
staff and programs.Requirements for the Position: Professional
Qualifications:MA degree in Social Work, Public Health, Nursing, or
a related field plus at least 10 years experience in the
administration of programs serving adults with Addiction and/or
Homeless Services.Personal Qualifications: Demonstrated
communication and listening skills, well organized, critical
thinking and problem solving skillsAble to model shared leadership
and followership skills as needed Ability to lead in an agency and
in services that provide life-saving and affirming services to
vulnerable adults with integrity, respect, and
compassion.Demonstrated commitment to continually strengthen agency
and programs' culture and communications so that diversity, equity,
inclusiveness, and belonging thrive. Is passionate about the
essential work that A&HS programs offer to individuals,
families, and communities and recognizes that such work is
dependent on many people (Board, Executive & Senior Leadership, all
staff and managers, agency administrative and operations staff,
volunteers, funders, and collaborative partners) who all play an
essential role in the services and opportunities we collectively
provide.Reports to:Chief Operating Officer Supervises:Senior
leadership roles within Addiction & Homeless
