Job Description An established San Mateo law firm is currently seeking a Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager will work with the leadership team to create new strategies and with the client services team to implement those strategies to grow the firm. This includes overseeing and actively engaging in day to day lead generation, client outreach, ongoing client engagement, and client retention activities. The marketing manager will analyze data, research market trends, and provide recommendations of new marketing and business development strategies to the leadership team. This position will also be responsible for the day-to-day marketing and business development activities and coordinating with the client services team to get things done. This includes email marketing activities, event marketing activities, preparing PowerPoint presentations, maintaining and updating all social media platforms and website, and other daily activities. This position reports to the managing shareholder. This is a full-time in the San Mateo office role. Founded in 1953, McDowall Cotter is a San Mateo based law firm that provides a common-sense approach to legal services in the practice areas of civil litigation, business and wealth preservation. The setting is a professional office in San Mateo on the Foster City border where highways 92 and El Camino Real meet. Marketing Manager duties and responsibilities: Set marketing goals and objectives Plan, implement and manage marketing strategy Contribute to the overall growth of the company Review and manage content marketing strategy Manage Client Service Coordinator Team Keep the marketing budget Track KPIs on a regular basis and present reports Create and present the annual marketing plan and strategy Use data and reports to make evidence-based decisions Analyze company's marketing strategy and suggest improvements Stay up to date with the latest technology Stay up to date with the latest best practices Attend marketing conferences and educational programs Design, plan and execute effective marketing campaigns Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, services etc. Collaborate with client services team on client issues throughout the entire sales cycle; bring forward solutions and work together on resolutions for the client Be available to assist clients with any concerns or issues that may arise Understand and follow all of Sales and Marketing Procedures Assist and put together legal presentations for Associates and Partners Research events and conferences for partners and associate to speak at or participate in Proofread and edit firm publications, including newsletters, articles, PowerPoint presentations, invitations, proposals, etc. Manage and publish on McDowall Cotters various social media platforms Create, update, order marketing materials as needed Maintain and update the firm website Marketing Manager requirements and qualifications: 3-5 years experience in marketing Being customer-centric Experience with CRM databases Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics and Google AdWords Regularly produce and present reports Excellent organizational and time management skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Excellent presentation skills Bachelors Degree or experience in similar relevant field Compensation: Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000 Benefits include 401k, profit sharing pension plan, medical benefits, vacation, sick leave, and reimbursement for continuing education.
