eCommerce Optimization & Strategy Manager
Job Summary:As the eCommerce Optimization & Strategy Manager, you will be an expert in digital experiences, the eCommerce funnel, analysis, and testing, focused on building a best-in-class off-price shopping experience for our TJX Digital brands. The Optimization Manager will lead the team in uncovering business opportunities to inform analyses, testing and customer-centric optimization strategies to drive profitable sales. You and your team will be responsible for leading areas such as site performance, multi-variate testing, on-site search, product recommendations, and new site features. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, naturally curious and possesses the ability to dig into customer behavior to identify barriers or difficulties in experience with the goal of building strategies to reduce friction and drive sales.
This role requires close collaboration with Finance, Digital Experience, Analytics, Marketing, and Operations to optimize conversion and customer engagement on our websites. Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Create & deliver strategies to drive conversion through a deep understanding of customer behavior analytics across MarMaxx.com (TJMaxx & Marshalls), HomeGoods.com or Sierra.com.
  • Analyze the business to project future goals; lead site Conversion Planning, Tracking and Driving.
    • Set conversion plan by month, year, and a multi-year view and tie to P&L.
    • Regularly analyze eCommerce KPIs, site health, and related data to find opportunities to improve the customer experience.
      • Create & maintain clear and regular reporting on performance of key initiatives and customer behavior to inform partners, build future strategies, drive long term site optimizations, and inform long range financial planning.
      • Keep pulse on business and identify any barriers to conversion across all devices.
      • Lead the team in developing and rolling out on-site testing initiatives, measuring impact and performance through analytics and various data points.
      • Create, maintain & implement A/B testing roadmap.
      • Partners with DX/UX to identify and prioritize future on-site optimizations or functionalities to enhance customer experience.
      • Responsible for a team who maintains On-Site Search and Product Recommendations, ensuring continuous performance evaluation and evolution to drive profitable sales, fuel the purchasing funnel and shopping experience, and drive site conversion.
      • Encourage the team on continuously keeping a pulse on Industry trends through site deep dives, sharing findings and recommendations across teams and partners.
      • Develop team for future growth within the department and organization. Coaches Associates on performance and professional development. Motivate and mentor team to achieve efficiency and productivity.
        Requirements
        • 5+ years' experience in eCommerce, Finance or Analytically focused digital environments that use data to drive decisions.
        • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effectively across all levels.
        • Experience managing a team which includes mentoring, developing and leading associates.
        • Understanding of ecommerce & business KPIs; strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
        • Experience working with cross-functional teams, building relationships with partners, and influencing outcomes in a changing Digital environment.
        • Strong technical experience, including experience with Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics as wells as multi-variate testing; experience with Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
