Job Description:
OVERALL SCOPE:Managesthe end-to-end supply and demand of all
Finished Goods (FG) from internal/external label & pack operations
to Export DCs to global markets.MaintainsKinaxis master data and
planning parameters to ensure supply chain networks are configured
consistently and accurately for Finished Goods planning
purposes.Guidesas the Planning Subject Matter Experts (SME) for all
global supply chain projects involving Finished Goods, provides
leadership and guidance to process setup and changes. Communicates
and escalates to end-to-end
stakeholdersPromotesandfacilitatescross-site, cross-functional, and
cross-GBU collaboration on Finished Goods end-to-end planning, and
continuous improvement of supply chain efficiency and achieve
inventory goalsRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESFinished Goods
PlanningOversee Finished Goods planning throughout product life
cycle including launch, the ramp-up to stabilization,
discontinuation, generational transitions, site change, or
consolidation.Routinely monitor global market coverage of all SPC
products, many of which are Live saving drugs.Analyze inventory
alerts and exceptions to identify, communicate, and mitigate supply
and demand risks.Perform manual allocation during global supply
shortage crisisLiaise product quality issues between manufacturing
sites and markets and coordinate resupply to mitigate stockout
risks.Collaborate with Global Customer Services, Export DCs and
Transportation to ensure timely deployment to markets while
maintaining agreed-upon target FG inventory levelLead
weekly/monthly meetings with major stakeholders to review, discuss
and follow up on FG exceptions, take corrective action, and
escalate as needed.Publish relevant FG planning KPIs and provide
inventory projectionMaintain unobstructed communication channels to
ensure smooth information flow among stakeholdersFor CMO-sourced
Finished Goods:Generate and consolidate L&P requirementsRequest
or issue Purchase Orders to CMO or External Manufacturing
teamProvide guidance on L&P prioritiesFacilitate resolution of
quality/regulatory-related CCR's/deviations affecting FG supply to
marketsPerform manufacturing functions for Rare Blood Disorder
portfolio to plan and allocate components, reconcile manufacturing
backlogsProvide FG planning support to non-commercial operations
including Humanitarian, Industrial Studies, and Managed Access
ProgramsKinaxis Planning System SMEOwn and manage Finished Goods
master data and planning parameters in Kinaxis for SPC GBUFirst
point of contact for any FG related system issues coming from
markets, Export DCs and manufacturing operationsTriage,
troubleshoot, log tickets, and escalate systems issues. Maintain
communications with stakeholders throughout the processLead,
facilitate and coordinate with the AMS team in resolving planning
issues across multiple systems affecting Finished Goods
planningCoordinate with markets, Export DCs and manufacturing
operations in setting up new GMIDs in Kinaxis, create BODsKey
contributors and SMEs to Sanofi-wide and GBU/franchise-wide
projects related to Finished GoodsEducate stakeholders on new ways
of working and RACI for every project and every go-liveProvide
guidance and operational insights to project leads to ensure
business requirements are metValidate and reconcile large scale
planning data, test solutions, support post-project hyper care, and
post go-live data clean upConfigure the system to support market
transitions, Export DC transitions, GMID transitions, and site
transitionsIdentify gaps in process and system changes, escalate to
COE and senior leadershipDrive improvements with External
Manufacturing Team to enable end-to-end planning capability on CMO
products. Reconcile, clean up and set up planning BOMs for CMO
product planningProvide regular project updates to GBU and market
supply chain stakeholdersOptimize FG Inventory and FlowsImplement
FG planning and deployment rules and parameters as per IBP/
S&OP decisions on inventory policies.Provide inputs to COE in
setting global inventory goals and configuring stocking policy in
Kinaxis.Analyze and trend supply alerts and take appropriate
actions to minimize recurring supply events or critical inventory
situations.Lead negotiations of SLA agreements with markets and
sites to achieve a balanced solution for inventory objectives and
shelf-life managementSet time-phased safety stock to support
product life cycle management and special transitionsSubstantiate
and recommend changes to supply chain network
configurationCollaborate on the IBP/ S&OP ProcessContribute to
monthly S&OP and IBP process by providing input to and taking
feedback from stakeholders and following up on actionsCompile and
review monthly DRP KPIs, demand and supply balancing, and
aggregated inventory levels and simulate potential
actions.Collaborate with network planners, site supply planners and
product leads in the modeling and implementation of Factory Control
TowerBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in supply chain
management, engineering, or business administration with at least 5
years of experience within a cGMP environment.PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONSGood knowledge of the biopharma value chain (plan,
source, make, deliver), global supply chain functions, and master
data, proficiency with business applications and systemsStrong
analytical skills and attention to detail, excellent verbal and
written communication skillsStrongly developed sense of urgency for
business-critical situations, ability to adjust and prioritize in a
complex and constantly changing environment.Strong interpersonal
skills and ability to build a relationship with internal and
external partners and work cross-functionally to achieve network
optimization for FG planningKnowledge of planning systems a strong
